Whining
One of the most irritating things in the whole wide world is whining. To me, it is akin to nails on a chalkboard. I can stand screaming, crying and general griping but when I hear someone whine, I want to throttle them.I know this sounds harsh but I can't help myself. It reminds me too much of a spoiled child. I want to tell them to suck it up. Life is not fair. The world does not love you nor care. I know this is so politically incorrect but oh well.

"Life isn't fair. Anyone who tells you differently is selling something."
ReplyDeleteWestley, The Princess Bride.
I would rate The Princess Bride as one of the top ten comedies of the last thirty years. My girls and I have watched it over and over. Great stuff. Thanks, Robynn. I needed that.
ReplyDeleteIt's actually been ranked as one of the top romances of the century. (Don't know where I saw that, but I did.)
ReplyDeleteToo funny...
ReplyDeleteThis being said as I hear a child whine from somewhere down the hall...which, I will choose to ignore!
